I've been working away of an evening trying to keep the woolly stock levels up in Seapink Gallery, Colonsay

Not looking too bad - a couple of toddler vest tops, some Wrist Warmers & Square Hats and a few pairs of the ever popular Rabbit Slippers.

And in case you're new here - the yarn is produced by the Balnahard sheep and the dye plants all grow abundantly on the surrounding farmland 💚💛💚💛

David, Seamus and Eve are clipping tups in the yard - not a job for the faint hearted.....

Daisy loves watching as closely as she's allowed but Gracie finds the hustle and bustle and swearing too much to deal with, so she sits outside the steading on the bike

She literally migrates up and down the track, ensuring she is never far from anyone who dares to pass. In fact she actually approaches us to let us know we annoy her

Absolutely no point being grumpy with people and staying out of the way quietly on the hill.....

Those of you who have been paying attention over the last couple of years will know about Ardbeag Crafts and their fondness for a Colonsay Wool Growers fleece...

Sarah weaves fleeces in to gorgeous rugs but also makes Viking Cloaks. Well worth looking at her social media pages to get the full picture

Anyway, she recently asked me for some photos to illustrate the sheep who grow the fleeces for these special cloaks.

Think I was out in the worst of it, water ingress in all areas....

The girls had a run about, the cows were all in a wet huddle and I even spotted Batman and Robin through the grey, so at least I could go back home and dry out having accomplished my tasks.

Gracie immediately embellished herself with a fresh cow pat 💩 and we had to do a lot of splashing in the waves to get rid of it!

Certain followers have been calling for more cowpat content......does it still count if the pat is attached to a dog? 🤔🤣
