One of our talented young people is putting on a concert in aid for Papyrus UK.

I’m sure this is going to be a fantastic show of local talent and we’re proud to see our young people taking on their own projects and for incredible causes.

Ever sat in any of our comfy blue chairs?

Know of a group or hall that’s looking for an upgrade?

We need to move our lovely blue chairs onto new homes now that the big Marvin Centre refurb is soon to be underway!

We are selling them for the low low price of £5 per chair! You too can have a piece of SYD history in your homes (or just nice chairs!)

All proceeds are going towards building a new storage space for SYD in the refurbished building.

🌟SAWSTON YOUTH DRAMA 2026🌟

Wow wow wow! What a talented bunch of young people we had this year! It is with great sadness we announce this SYD year has officially come to an end!

Thank you parents for letting us work with your young people, we are very lucky to have been given the chance!

Thank you to all our leaders for putting on two incredible shows as we sent off the Marvin Centre in spectacular fashion!

Thank you Shelford Feast for having as always!

Well we did it. We told our stories. We believed. We saved rock and roll. The end.

Wowee what a talented bunch we had this year with still so much energy left after a hot show week! ✨

What a show week we have had this week for our SYD Juniors production of Shrek Jr. So much talent from such a young cast. 🎭

This show is not an easy one vocally or technically and brought on even harder with the level of costume and make up required to bring the Fairytale to life - and these kids smashed it out of the park! 🔥

We ask a lot of the cast and they don’t hesitate to jump feet first into these shows and it really shows in these photos and on stage how much fun they’re having whilst having unwavering dedication to making it a world class show 🌟

Hopefully we will see you next week for one more run of some of the songs at the Shelford Feast! ⛺️
