It was the end of an era yesterday as The Pinball Office hosted its final competitive tournament.

It was a great day, with three new entrants to the addictive world of competitive pinball and some old hands.

An amazing final game of the final round on Twilight Zone saw Dan Pocklington lock in on ball 3 to pass the veteran Greg Mott and secure his second Pinball Office 1st Place with a score of 751 million to Greg's already amazing 644 million.

1st Place - Dan Pocklington
2nd Place - Greg Mott
3rd Place - David Bowery
4th Place - Daniel O'Neill

The ladder B Finals resulted in Nick Clark (UK) lifting the fifth trophy after entering as the top seed and winning the required final three games in a row.

There have been eleven tournaments at the regionally famous Pinball Office since the first in April 2022 with the final, 12th occuring tomorrow.

But...

- which three players have attended all 11 so far?
- who has lifted the most first place trophies over the four and a half year period of competitive pinball in Sawbridgeworth?
- who has received a coveted 4th place finish?

I'm glad you asked as all these questions are answered at the Pinball Office Hall of Fame (ordered by total WPPRs achieved naturally).

Final preparations are underway this evening for Sunday's tournament, which is now fully booked.

A couple of reminders/housekeeping points:

- due to the nature of the tournament as a round robin, it is important everyone is available at the start of the tournament which is 10.30 (the club is open from 9.30 so please do come earlier and hang out/practice with no stress about being late)
- similarly, if you are not going to be able to come, please let us know as soon as possible so we can remove you from the tournament (last time we had three no-shows which is hard to deal with)
- remember to bring a packed lunch
- if you do not already have a Matchplay account, please create one by following the link below and choosing the "Sign in > Create a Free Account" link, this will allow you to enter results and make things run more smoothly on the day
