On Saturday night 7pm-9pm there is an evening of spoken word and poetry exploring themes of connection, healing, displacement, memory and visibility.

experience on an art installation called MIDAIR and a celebration event at St Paul’s Church in Bedford.

We would love to receive stories and photographs before Refugee Week, so if you or your group have a story to tell us before then and want to get in touch, please contact [email protected] or call on 01234 818670 or drop your contributions off at St Paul’s, which is open to the public 11:00am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday.

Get in touch if you want to contribute to this project on the experience of migration

To celebrate Refugee Week, 22nd-26th June, Bedford Creative Arts (BCA) is working with artist J. F. Jacques on an art installation called MIDAIR and a celebration event at St Paul’s Church in Bedford.

If you are a refugee migrant living in Bedford, or work with refugees, and would like to share your story and photographs to see them built into a mobile, please come and talk to our artist during Refugee Week at St Paul’s Church between 22nd – 26th June. BCA can copy photographs to ensure you can keep the originals.

We would love to receive stories and photographs before Refugee Week, so if you or your group have a story to tell us before then and want to get in touch, please contact [email protected] or call on 01234 818670 or drop your contributions off at St Paul’s, which is open to the public 11:00am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday.
