We are a custom-built cheer and dance studio in the Hebrides, providing classes ranging from ballet to tumble for kids aged 3 and over. We are also home to the only Allstar Cheer and Dance teams in the Outer Hebrides, North West Allstars 🤍

Coaches and teachers are all PVG, Child Safety and First Aid qualified, as well as trained in their respective styles. We offer a wide range of recreational classes, as well as the opportunity to try out for our Allstar teams and represent the Western Isles at national competitions ✨

📣 Let your little performer’s confidence shine! Our Mini Stage School class, taught by Leah Devlin, is a fun and energetic introduction to the world of musical theatre, where children learn to sing, dance and act in a supportive and encouraging environment. ✨

Each week, students take part in vocal and physical warm-ups, develop their performance skills and work towards a fun musical theatre number. Throughout the term, their confidence will grow as they rehearse and prepare to perform in our special end-of-term showcase. 🎭

Perfect for children who love being on stage, enjoy performing with others, or simply want to build confidence, be creative and have lots of fun. 🤩💫

📣 Our Youth Acrobatics class, taught by the fabulous Lydia Millar, combines elements of gymnastics and dance whilst focusing on balance, flexibility and tumbling. 💫

Children will develop skills including rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges and much more. It’s a great way for children to build strength and flexibility whilst also improving their coordination and balance. 🤸

Acro can also be a great addition to other dance and cheer classes where you can build on your skill set and work on tricks and technique all within a supportive and encouraging environment. 💪🏻

We have some remaining spaces on this class, but as with our other classes there will be a waiting list to join once the last spaces have been taken up, so book your child’s space now!⚡️🤸

At Sandwickhill Dance Academy, we have a wide range of dance and performance classes to choose from. Our teachers help young people build their technique, confidence and performance skills, while creating a welcoming space where they can make friends and enjoy dancing together. 💃

Just a reminder that all classes start back on Monday - even if you've received a confirmation with your booking (at any point) stating Saturday 15th! The correct start date for term is this Monday. Apologies for any confusion - we can't wait to see you!

Spaces are limited and we are sorry we don’t have more opportunities available for new dancers right now - but please add your name to wait list as we will contact you when a space becomes available. As many dancers switch around near the beginning of term this can mean spaces come up soon.

Hi everyone!

Just a quick message to say a huge thank you for your patience while we finalise all of our class spaces for the new season.

We're working through everything as quickly and carefully as we can to make sure everyone is in the right class. If you think we've made a mistake or have a query about your child's classes, please email us, as we don't monitor our social media inboxes.

We'd also really appreciate your kindness and understanding while we get everything sorted. It's a huge job behind the scenes, and Catriona, Joanne and myself are all doing our very best to make sure every child has the right place.

Support the only competitive cheer and dance team in the Hebrides as we work towards representing our islands at Nationals in Glasgow! Our athletes train hard all year, and this fundraiser helps cover essential competition costs including uniforms.

To get us there, we’re running an island-wide raffle packed with incredible prizes — and tickets are just £1 each.
