I delivered my two sculptures to the Square Gallery in Dover this morning. The exhibition is called Bodies of Water and opens next weekend.

Before I got back to my workshop, l stopped to buy this beautiful ribbon from Rose and Tony's on Kings Street in Sandwich.
I will be threading the finished painted letters and painting the 2nd/3rd coat of paint on the next batch.

In between topping up my shelves, I am working on this intricate moulding which appears at both ends of my Dog chasing it's tail carving.
I need to get it almost finished, so that I can finish it on the 4th July at the Canterbury Medieval Pageant.
Find me at St Thomas' Church on Burgate, fun fact, I was christened in this Church 😁
It will be featured in an exhibition at the Beaney later in the year.

I'm making sure that I have plenty of my popular hand painted letters. Mostly Welsh slate, but there's a piece of Cornish slate in there too.
Lovely bright colours, a perfect token of appreciation, a tag for a present, or just because it's always nice to have our initials.

What an amazing weekend. Thanks to the Sandwich Medieval Centre and all involved.
I'm looking forward to their next event, watch this space for details.

Le Weekend Medieval 2026, our biggest, busiest and best event so far.

Thank You Everyone, we could not have done it without all of the incredible volunteers, riggers, reenactors, demonstrators, traders and performers who always make the event so special.

Our next event will be 25th & 26th July for Archery on the green & Archer of the Cinque ports reenactor competition.
