!!! The Comedy and Cabaret Evening - TONIGHT !!!

Today the Theatre Space will be transformed from an examination venue to a cabaret style performance venue and bar. Students and staff have been working tirelessly over the past several weeks preparing a range of songs, dances and sketches for tonight's 'Evening of Comedy and Cabaret', which is being dedicated to the long serving performing arts teacher Maggie Gaston who is leaving us for retirement this summer.

There will be a licensed bar operating throughout the evening so you can celebrate the end of your week as we celebrate the end of yet another jam-packed year of performances.

Tickets are £8 (£7) and can be purchased on the door until we reach capacity. The show starts at 7pm tonight - don't be late!!

Here's a few pics from yesterday at the Lowry. All involved put on a wonderful performance and worked tremendously professionally in and around the venue. Thank you to everyone who supported The Monstrum both in school and at The Lowry - a great experience which we won't forget!

Sandbach School Theatre is proud to present 'The Monstrum' by Kellie Smith as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival 2017!

Each year Connections offers a unique opportunity for youth theatres and school theatre groups to stage new plays written for young people by some of theatre’s most exciting playwrights, and to perform in leading theatres across the UK.

Tonight sees the opening performance of our latest senior school production 'The Angel and the Child'.

The play is set in Renaissance Florence and tells the story of the tempestuous relationship between Leonardo Da Vinci and his Master, Andrea Del Verrocchio.

Tonight some of our senior students host a quiz night in order to raise funds so we can compete in the National Theatre Connections Festival 2017.

Entry is £6 per person (£5 students), and there will be a licensed bar and raffle operating throughout the evening from 19.15 in the sixth form centre. Teams of no more than 6!
