Friends Of Elworth Park

Friends Of Elworth Park We are a group of volunteers working to keep our much loved community park tidy. Friends Of Elworth Park is a local community group formed in 2012.

A committee was formed and after working closely with Cheshire East and Sandbach Town Councils to improve the facilities over all feel and appearance of the park, it was officially re-opened to the public on 6th July 2013. Friends of Elworth Park hold two open meetings a year where all members of the public can attend and have their say. The committee meet regularly to discuss new improvements, d

iscuss fund raising event ideas and manage the running of the group. Our main goal now is to improve the parks appearance and encourage the local community to be involved. We hold monthly Working parties where small teams litter pick, weed and plant. Other projects are in the pipeline and we are always wanting new volunteers to help with the park.
