Just a reminder that Saltford Drama Club are excited to bring to Saltford Hall an Old Time Music Hall on 26th/27th/28th November this year. There will of course be a Master of Ceremonies, following a traditional Victorian Music Hall variety format.

Based on the BBC series of the same name, which kept audiences entertained for 30 years, Saltford Drama are staging their own “The Good Old Days”.

For those that don’t remember, this is a variety show with an assortment of entertainment.

With a large cast, the show consists of chorus numbers, solo performances, drama and maybe even a little bit of magic, this is an evening that is guaranteed to entertain and delight any age group.

Tickets are sure to be popular, so make sure you get yours early. They are just £15 per person, obtainable online or from Saltford PO/Library Hub. There will also be a reasonably priced licensed bar.

Just a reminder that following the Saltford Repair Cafe this morning, tomorrow (Sunday 18 October) will see the return of our popular Flea Market in the warm and dry at Saltford Hall. We have sold out stalls so nearly 40 to browse.

Stalls will be there selling all sorts of things such as household goods, clothes, toys etc. There will be bargains galore to tempt you and entry is completely free.

When you fancy a break from all that bargain hunting make a stop at our ever popular Community Café. There you will find Fairtradee tea, coffee, soft drinks, home made cakes and delicious Newton Farm bacon rolls with melting brie! There will also be a few pasties!
Tell us why wouldn't you come with all this to tempt you?

It all kicks off at 10am and proceedings end at 1pm.

Just a reminder that our next monthly Repair Café will be at Saltford Hall this Saturday 17 October from 11am – 1pm to repair your items. We had a record number of items to repair in September and look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

We will also have someone available to help with advice on Macs and devices if you need it and are still looking for someone to provide advice on Microsoft/Window devices.

Please pop down with your item needing a helping hand or simply come along and say hello. As well as being able to get your broken items looked at or sharpened, we will also be running our community café alongside offering our legendary Newton Farm bacon rolls, as well as other rolls, home-made cakes and Fairtrade tea/coffee.

The 2027 Saltford Calendar is now for sale in the Post Office priced at £8.50 which is the same price as last year and represents great value for the money.

Our stock is limited so do buy soon to avoid disappointment .

Just a reminder that this coming Friday Saltford Community Cinema is showing the award winning film Hamnet. This dramatises the family life of William Shakespeare and his wife Agnes Hathaway as they cope with the devastating loss of their 11-year-old son. Directed by Chloé Zhao and based on Maggie O'Farrell's acclaimed novel it won major industry accolades, including an Oscar for Best Actress for Jessie Buckley.

Showing on your doorstep at Saltford Hall on Friday 16 October 2026 at 7:30 pm. Drinks and ice creams will be available from 6:45pm.

Tickets are only £6 and can be purchased in advance via online or just turn up and pay on the door
