Back on our travels this weekend. We're filling the busiest weekend of the Morris calendar with not one but two danceouts!!! Firstly tomorrow at Todmorden Folk Festival and then Bank Holiday Monday at the Triangle, Shipley for their May Day danceout... Look forward to seeing you all at the Maypole ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Rainbow had a wonderful day celebrating the Cherry Blossom Festival at Bolling Hall in Bradford today. Many thanks to our friends Buttercross Belles for dancing alongside us and leading the maypole... It was tangled affair at times.!!! Always a beautiful day and we even managed to coax the sun out with our moves 😍🌞💃

Update: storm Amy can't stop us Rainbows, but as a result of torrential rain we will be forced to dance as and when the rain stops! Join us next Saturday, 4th October, as we celebrate our 35th anniversary!!!!! 8 dance teams including Leeds Morris Men, 400 Roses and t'Thorns, The Buttercross Belles, Hebden Bridge Hill Millies, Briggate Morris Wharfedale Wayzgoose Border Morris & Roll back the Carpet will descend on Saltaire for a day packed with fun and frivolity!!! Catch us this afternoon at the Rae Gala! 2.35pm and 3.35pm!!! 🥳🥳🥳

The Rae Gala in Northcliffe is on the 6th July - a week to go!

As well as the usual family fun of games and activities, the miniature railway, donkey rides, charity stalls, tombolas, food and drink stalls, there is a full programme of events to keep everyone entertained.

The Gala is held on the field along from Cliff Wood Avenue - it’s a tarmac path and level so very accessible. Parking is limited but there is a bus stop right outside the park.
