Saltaire Festival 12-20 September 2026

If you’ve applied for a food, drink or artisan stall and haven’t heard from us yet, please don’t worry - your application is with us.

As a small volunteer-run team, we’re a little short on helping hands at the moment. We’re currently working our way through applications and hope to complete reviews over the coming weeks. We’ll be in touch as soon as we can and really appreciate your patience in the meantime.

12-20 September

9 days. 1 village. 100s of reasons to visit.

This year we’re celebrating the 24th Saltaire Festival and 25 years of Saltaire’s UNESCO World Heritage status and we’d love you to be part of it.

FAMILY WEEKEND | 🗓️12-13 Sept
Roberts Park will be buzzing with food, crafts, music, family fun and plenty of opportunities to treat yourself.

Across the village:
Open Gardens,
YardFest,
Piano Village,
and all sorts of wonderful independent events along the way.

MID-WEEK | 🗓️14-18 Sept
Poetry, comedy, dance and something different every night.

FINALE WEEKEND | 🗓️19-20 Sept
The Continental Market returns, the Golden Stage takes over the village; Roberts Park fills with street food, live performances, stalls and festival atmosphere.

Like many festivals across the country, we’re facing rising costs and shrinking funding. Behind every event is a team of volunteers giving their time to keep Saltaire Festival free and open to everyone.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of David Hockney, one of Yorkshire’s greatest artists and a figure whose work became woven into the story of Saltaire through his enduring connection with Salts Mill. Today, we join countless people across Yorkshire and around the world in remembering a remarkable artist who helped us see beauty in the everyday

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Open Gardens: Plant Share & Seed Swap as part of our World Heritage celebrations- what a success!

From swapping seeds and plants to sharing tips, stories and smiles, it was fantastic to see the community come together around a shared love of growing.

Thanks to everyone who contributed, supported and made it so special - you helped something meaningful take root 🌱

Now let’s see those seedlings grow… and here’s to even bigger, greener events ahead! 🪴🌷
