On Thursday night, the audience were greeted by Nicholas Walker playing the newly restored organ, followed by the main event, with pianist Joanna Krauze. Joanna played a selection of works by Bach, Chopin and Beethoven, all warmly received by the audience. An innovation this season has been the installation of a video screen, enabling the afficianados in the audience to follow the keyboard action in close up.
On Friday, French pianist Isabelle Oemichan played a varied programme of Schubert, Mozart, Liszt, Baraige, Chopin and Bortkiewicz.
On Saturday, the Farley Music Festival 2025 season reached a climax, with the gala opera evening, playing to a capacity audience.
On Sunday, the FMF welcomed the choirs of Bishop Wordsworth's and Godolphin school choirs for the choral evensong. The church was full for a moving service and beautiful singing - a fitting finale to a wonderful season.
