Latest burning project,burnt on spalted beech. This is on a large piece of wood (35x50 cm) with the burn being around 30x40cm)
I love how it's turned out. Both sides of the wood are used so you can pick which you prefer.

This piece is still for sale so shout (DM) if you're interested in buying it.
I'd be looking for £105 for this one as the wood is expensive (£35) and the burn time was well over 10 hours of effort to produce it. (Works out at like £7 an hour if considered as an hourly rate for my burning skills ;)) a bargain......

Some recent wood burning projects. There's a few weeks worth of work here........what do you think?

If there's any you like the look of them DM me for prices. My work isn't too expensive depending on size, time taken and wood used. Spalted woods are more expensive than plain woods, live edge is also considered as premium. If it's on plywood then it'll be normally a cheaper piece.....most my projects are on premium wood bases and I tend to burn both sides so you can pick which side you show off depending on what your preference is.

Been keeping busy these are all the recent burning projects I've completed. Some of my favorites, the skinny fish, the dumpy highland cow and the dragons...... I have all my work for sale so if there is anything you want for your house to add to the decor please let me know via dm, very reasonable prices. Most of my burns are done on premium spalted beech, alder and sycamore. I also burn both sides so you can choose which side fits for your home, or change to the reverse side so you have more flexibility.
Prices usually £30-55 depending on size and complexity of burn (depending how long it takes to complete) . Most of the premium wood will be £15+ to buy on its own, then there's finishing waxes, oil or varnish all of which costs.....

Some of these pieces took well over 10-15+hours of effort so I think the prices are a great deal when considering these points.

PyroPaul is busy doing lots of Christmas fayres the next one is on the 17th November in Devizes (at the corn exchange).

Is anyone from Salisbury (UK) aware of any charities who might be interested in receiving some items for raffles they might run?

I do wood burned items such as those in this post and want to gift some pieces to 1 or more charities to raffle off for well deserved funds. Christmas time is a time for good will after all?! Any ideas??n _f
