SUMMER OPENING: From 5th July we will be open on Sundays 10-2pm throughout summer.

As part of our Analogue Gathering in July, we are delighted to welcome designer blacksmith Simon Bushell to Messums West. The Nowhere Forge run by Simon, is a totally self-contained, solar and pedal powered blacksmiths workshop where you can come and experience the alchemy of blacksmithing using traditional and contemporary tools and methods.

We are offering the chance to have a go on the hearth using hammer, tongs and anvil while Simon guides you through the process of making a coat hook with a decorative twist to take home and treasure.

Simon will also be holding drop-in copper work sessions which will be based around mark making with punches and stamps to create simple pieces of jewellery or totem.

The workshops will be taking place on Saturday 11th July. Visit our website for more details (link in bio).

The Analogue Gathering celebrates the type of making and thinking that comes from the hand-eye-heart connection and considers how creativity today within communities offers some of the strongest and most authentic responses to a wider set of questions. Across the three days, guest artists, makers and creatives will present work through a series of talks, lead hands-on workshops and take part in conversations that span craft, culture and contemporary life.

Friday 10 - Sunday 12 July

Luke Sital‑Singh arrives at Messums West as an artist shaped by more than a decade of quiet intensity — a songwriter whose work has always felt like a hand on the shoulder, steadying and unflinchingly honest.

A British singer, songwriter, and producer, he has built a career on songs that seem to breathe, carrying the weight of unspoken feelings in their hushed atmospheres and poetic turns of phrase.

Across five acclaimed albums, he has woven together folk intimacy, indie restraint, and modern pop clarity, creating a sound that feels both fragile and fiercely human.

Witness an extraordinary performance in the 13th century tithe barn with it’s naturally breathtaking acoustics.

Luke Sital‑Singh performs at Messums West on Friday 17 July. Link in bio for more info and to book tickets.
