Found this on my phone from the aurora borealis earlier this year I remember it but not this picture. I remember at the time we couldn't quite see the colours as well as an extended exposure on my phones camera. I rely on my phone for it's camera as my canon camera has never worked properly since my last trip into the Namibian desert savannahs and I think the dial is full of sand and desert sand is ultra fine not like the grainy stuff on beaches, more like a powder. I will get it cleaned out one day.

I've taken the plunge and exposed my poetry writing side up to the world 🌍 and all the critics out there I'm not perfect for I've only been writing for myself, since I awoke from my coma, although I do have a few hidden away that I'll digitally dust down a post as often as I can I do have some that I have done as bespoke for people and those are not being shared as they are private to those owners.

Asthe sun sets and rises on my final hours on Florida here's a little look back on my time here and a little poem from the night we escaped the Everglades.

The sky turned dark, the plans did bend, Four fifty-five, the journey's end, Or so we thought,as the hour's toll, Six o'clock's crash, lost all control.

The vessel sank, a watery grave, Through shadowed depths, we sought to save, Where tooth and fin, in darkness gleam, A mangrove's reach, a desperate dream.

The vest held high, a floating grace, The pills sustained, in time and space, A phone's faint call, a signal's plea, Luke's strong arm, for all to see, cool heads preservered as ego's took a dent.

Forty five minutes, in the wild's embrace, Then Rangers raced, to find our place, Florida's lights, a safe retreat, The swamp's wild song, now bittersweet. Gahnooe boat saved and carried back to harbour. Engine saved through Googles help.
To all a fond cheer.
