The Queen of Weaste has some fabulous news… we’ve now raised a WHOPPING £3,233 towards our £5,000 target for the Weaste & Seedley Social Club! 🥳🏳️‍🌈

But we’re not there yet, and we have a few more sequins to shake to get our target! 😂

The Crowdfunder is helping Weaste & Seedley Social Club with much needed repairs and improvements so we can keep this brilliant community space going.

Please support if you can! Weaste & Seedley Social Club give us the venue for free every year for weaste pride so we can continue to keep it free entry! They do so much for the community so let’s keep them going!

🎉 BRILLIANT NEWS FOR WEASTE & SEEDLEY SOCIAL CLUB! 🎉

We’ve finally had confirmation that Salford City Council are going to match fund donations to our Crowdfunder! 🙌❤️

Our Crowdfunder is raising money towards some much needed work at the club, including repairs, refurbishment and a new ceiling, helping us keep this much loved community space looking its best and available for the people of Weaste, Seedley and beyond. 🏠❤️

We now have just over 30 days left to reach our £2,500 target and we’ve got some fundraising plans up our sleeves, but we could really do with your help too! 🙏

If you’re able to donate, even a few pounds makes a difference, and thanks to Salford City Council’s match funding, your donation can have an even bigger impact.

🌈💪 WEASTE PRIDE SUPPORTS JACKED FRUIT GYM! 🏳️‍🌈❤️

We’re proud to show our support for Jacked Fruit Gym and their crowdfunder! 🍊💪

Community spaces and inclusive organisations can make such a huge difference to people’s lives, giving people somewhere they can feel comfortable, be themselves, meet others and build confidence.

That’s something we really believe in at Weaste Pride, which is why we’re sharing this fundraiser and asking our amazing community to get behind it if you can. 🙌

Wow!!!

We honestly can’t thank you enough ❤️

We’ve just hit £1235 raised on our crowdfunder and that’s down to the kindness of people who care about keeping our club going. Every single donation, share and kind word really does mean a lot to us.

For anyone who doesn’t know, this crowdfunder is all about helping us make some much needed repairs and improvements to Weaste and Seedley Social Club. We’re a volunteer run community space and the money raised will help us keep the doors open for everything we do from bingo nights and family fun days to live music, fundraisers and giving local groups a place to come together.

This place belongs to the community, and you’re all a massive part of it 💙

Sometimes you’ve just got to look back to see how far you’ve come 💭✨

We’ve been digging through the archives and found some of the very first Weaste Pride moments… back when it was just a little garden party with friends, a few drinks, plenty of laughs and a whole lot of love 🏳️‍🌈💕

No big stage. No crowds. Just our community coming together and being unapologetically ourselves.

Fast forward to now and it’s grown into something we never could’ve imagined… but those early days will always be where the magic started 💛

Here’s a little throwback to where it all began — and a reminder that something small can turn into something really special 🌈
