An amateur dramatic society based in Salford, Greater Manchester. We're always in need of new members, so if you fancy acting or just helping out backstage get in touch! Brief History:
Priestley Players Amateur Dramatic Society was formed in 1970. Early productions were performed in the staff canteen at the British Oxygen Company on Priestley Road, Swinton, Manchester, UK. After the first few show

s, the PPADS as they had become known, moved to Worsley Road Methodist Church hall. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the church closed down in 2014 so PPADS moved a small way away to Saint James' (Hope), Salford

Today we say our final goodbyes to one of our most ardent members, Roger Partington. Roger was a wonderful friend to all he met and will be sadly missed by so many. Please feel free to share your memories of Roger as I am sure there are many stories.

The funeral for Roger Partington will be held at Worsley Road URC on 22nd September at 1pm.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of one of our most passionate members. Roger Partington passed away on Sunday afternoon. Roger appeared in and directed many of our productions.
