Hung Theatre is excited to announce a ‘Producing New Writing’ hangout session – and we’re looking for your input!

Part of Two In A Bed Theatre Company’s ‘Theatre In Isolation Festival’, this virtual hangout will delve into the minds of different creative voices within Hung Theatre, discussing how they ensure new writing remains at the heart of the work they create.

We’ll be hearing from writers, directors, actors and producers on their experiences producing new writing. From all of us at Hung Theatre, 364 days since we launched, we’d like to thank each and every one of you that’s helped make our debut year such an amazing one! We pledged new writing would be at the heart of the theatre we create, and with all of your help we’re proud to say we feel accomplished in this respect. But we’ve only just begun! To finish the year, our third production saw fantastic Hung Theatre writers Lewis Woodward and Eleanor Cartmill bring two exciting new plays – Sirens and Rotting – to The King's Arms!

Featuring pirate themed escape rooms and Blackpool Irish bars, we were delighted to work with new and familiar faces to help bring these stories to life.
