Matthew Ganley is playing the fantastic role of Leontes in The Winters Tale next week at The Brindley Theatre. One of Shakespeare's best plays we reckon. Pop along if you're out and about in Runcorn. There's live music too!

Enjoying the buzz of 24:7 Theatre Festival so far. Saw My Space last night. Over the next few days we will have the joy of watching The Young, Blunted and Away From Home. Hope to see some of you there!

Our thoughts are with the friends, family and colleagues of firefighter Stephen Hunt who lost his life attending a fire in Manchester at the weekend. We had been mentoring Milk and Two Sugars Theatre Company through their site specific 24/7 show Manchester's Burning which has been cancelled as a mark of respect for Stephen. Also wishing the company and cast all the best for what must have been a difficult decision. Hopefully it will be re-scheduled in the future as the play also carries important messages around fire safety which it would be a shame to lose, particularly in the light of this recent tragedy.

One week left of Manchester International Festival! Really enjoyed "This Variation" at the weekend - in complete darkness (at Mayfield Depot) with a group of strangers a vocal soundscape emerges from unidentifiable shadows in the crowd.
