Day 2 highlights.

Our friends at the British Dragon Boat Racing Association showcased their sport today. Clubs from around the UK joined us in Salford for an unforgettable day on and off the water.

It was a pleasure to welcome everyone to The Quays, and we hope you enjoyed your time with us. We're looking forward to 2027 already.

A big part of the UK Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is making sure there’s something for young people to enjoy too. Each year, the festival includes a dedicated programme of youth activities, adding even more energy and community spirit to the weekend at Salford MediaCity & The Quays.

We’re also proud to support Action for Children through our charitable fundraising initiative, with 10% of all dragon boat team registration fees donated to help the charity’s work.
