Meet Adam the producer on 'lo******ng to an inappropriate soundtrack'!

Adam is a Director, Producer and Writer that mainly works in Theatre, Audio and Short Film.

They are originally from and based in Manchester, and is the current Artistic Director of Peripeteia Theatre, which they co-founded in 2020.

In 2023, they took over as Production Director of JB Shorts.

'lo******ng to an inappropriate soundtrack', is a smorgasbord of love, dating, s*x, friendship, q***rness and all that other good stuff.

Meet Lucie the assistant director on 'lo******ng to an inappropriate soundtrack'!

Lucie (she/they) graduated drama school in 2023, being thrown into the world of being a burnt-out actor. She started directing in 2025 so grow her experiences further. Now they’re gunning to advocate for creatives in the industry to keep them safe within their professions!

Meet Lauren the director of 'lo******ng to an inappropriate soundtrack'!

Lauren is a q***r, theatre director, writer, and dramaturg. Passionate about new-writing and devised work, Lauren creates multi-disciplinary theatre that is aesthetically bold, movement based and socially engaged.

She recently directed ‘Pluviophiles’ by Evan L. Barker which was named one of the top 20 shows in Wales, 2025 by The Edit, Wales. She is currently developing a piece about Manchester’s LGBTQ+ suffragettes and q***r history with So La Flair Theatre.

Meet Jenny the writer of 'lo******ng to an inappropriate soundtrack'!

Jenny is a British/Irish, bis*xual writer based in Manchester. Since graduating from ALRA North in 2022, she’s focused predominantly on creating dialogue-driven writing, centred around funny, poignant, mundane moments that have people and love at the heart of it.

Her debut play ‘lo******ng to an inappropriate soundtrack’ was chosen for Peripeteia’s Boiler Room Programme in 2025 and also shortlisted for the 2025 DCC Playwriting Prize.
