In 3 weeks today the festival kicks off, and our Thursday line-up is looking exciting! Topics include:
- Hello from the festival team
- Introduction to regenerative ocean farming
- Seaweed as fertiliser
- Processing seaweed
- Food webs on ocean farms and disruption by climatic conditions
- Seaweed tasting and its uses in a variety of foods
- Plus, a very tasty seaweed Ramen lunch 🤤
In the evening we finish off with a film - Coastal Voices - shot locally, exploring this community’s connection to the sea.
The soundtrack is written by local musicians Chant and Jebbers, who will be performing a live gig for us after the film. There’ll be free Seaweed Cheese & Crackers, as well as local drinks available to buy.
Thursday day tickets are £5, available now! (Day tickets include all talks on Thursday 10am-4pm). Lunch is an add-on, £10. The evening film and gig is £5, including nibbles.
