Are you visiting Charlestown Harbour this summer?
It's a beautiful place to visit but many day visitors miss out on seeing the rest of the village. Walk up the hill from the roundabout and you'll find more shops and cafes, as well as the park, the lovely Church with links to Noel Coward and lots of photo opportunities with pretty cottage gardens and buildings.
You'll also find us in the pretty courtyard opposite Charlestown Chapel.

We are CLOSING early today (Monday) at 3pm so that we can watch our daughter return to Fowey Harbour after taking part in the Sail Training race as part of Fowey Royal Regatta. ⛵

Here's a lovely way to get to Charlestown with a nice coastal walk from Carlyon Bay to Charlestown.
Once you've explored the harbour area make sure to give yourself time to explore the other shops and cafes further up the hill.
You'll find us at Atishoo Gallery just behind the pretty cottage gardens right by the bus stop near the old Charlestown Chapel. Supporting UK artists and designers since 1997 and located in Charlestown since 2003 we are stocked full of art, gifts and souvenirs all designed and made in the UK.

One of the advantages of being artists and bespoke picture framers is that our prints can be ordered in a size and frame of your choice. Today a local customer ordered eight prints in a bespoke oak coloured frame and I've even managed to crop a few of them so that they are in his preferred square format. These are just virtual mock ups of how they'll look.

Wild Swimming 🏊
Whether swimming in a river, lake or the sea we've got the perfect card for those who love the thrill of wild swimming. We know there are some dedicated folk in Charlestown who go in all year round 🥶 they are braver than me.
We have an extensive range of cards and most are blank for your own message, and our prices are actually cheaper than many of the big stores.
Whether you are local or just visiting, do pop in to see us, we have postcards too, despite a man earlier saying postcards being surprised that anyone still sends them, we sell quite a lot of them

We've just unpacked a delivery of the very popular Fishing Village collection of tea towels and coasters designed by Cornwall based artist Caroline Cleave. These were so popular last time that we've also added the melamine trays, table mats and cotton aprons.

Just before we went away we had a new delivery of beautiful hand thrown and decorated stoneware bowls and vases from Janice at Wellydog Ceramics. Hand painted with coastal cottages they are very affordable too for something handmade with love, care and skill. Starting from £18 up to £40 depending on size.

We're open Monday to Saturday 11am to 5pm.
