Don't miss the pub quiz that's 100 per cent music and a million per cent fun!

We're back at the Royston Club, St Albans on Friday 18th September, for more musical nostalgia and good times.

So why not get your team together and try your hand. A good night is guaranteed wherever you finish in the rankings!

The quiz is back in just a couple of weeks - make sure Friday 18th September is locked in your diary!

As always, we'll have one round dedicated to a featured artist. This month it's '80s new romantic rockers DURAN DURAN.

As well as that, there will be six other rounds including new themes for September as well as classic favourites "guess the year" and the picture round.

There's a cash jackpot for the overall winners - but with our spot "guess the number one" game, any team (even the lowest-placed one) can also win a prize!

The quiz takes place at the Royston Club, St Albans and is open to all. Join us on Friday 18th September from 7.30pm.

Some of you who came to last week's quiz said you thought it was one of the toughest yet... but I've been through all your answer sheets and can confirm there was not a single question in the whole quiz that no team scored a point on. So well done!

The closest we got this time was where we asked you to name two McFly song titles mentioning the word "radio". Some of you managed to get one of them, but no team correctly identified both "One For The Radio" (2008) and "Love Is On The Radio" (2013). But who likes McFly anyway?!

The good news is, you can try your hand at some music trivia all over again in just three weeks. We're back at the Royston Club, St Albans on Friday 18th September, with lots of exciting new rounds and a new featured artist. Don't miss it!

Very sad news about Dolly Parton. Putting together our featured artist round on her a few months back to mark her 80th birthday was a real revelation on the breadth and quality of her work, and just how much she has influenced others over the years. RIP.

Thanks to everyone who came along to last night's quiz, and congratulations to winning team "Sorted for E's and Quiz" who - in a very close contest - edged first place overall.

Well done also to the two teams who won a round of drinks in our spot prize competition - "2Unlimited" who picked the 1990s and correctly identified Ooh Ah Just A Little Bit by Gina G, and "No Hopers" who picked the 2020s and recognised Hate That I Made You Love Me by Ariana Grande.

We'll be back with our next quiz on Friday 18th September when there will be brand new themed rounds and another featured artist suggested by our regular quizzers. It's open to all and we hope to see you then!
