That’s a wrap on the Roman Theatre Open Air Festival 2026!💛

Twelfth Night concluded the season with a joyful production, finishing last night. Even with a rescheduled performance due to ⛈️, the two casts delivered a wonderful run of shows over the bank holiday weekend.

Fresh from the highly acclaimed run at the open-air Roman Theatre of Verulamium in St Albans, OVO is taking our jazzy and sassy adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest on tour with the original cast - beginning this Wednesday, 2nd September in Radlett, before visiting Cheltenham Everyman Theatre, The EM Forster Theatre in Tonbridge, The Minack Theatre in Porthcurno, The Chipping Norton Theatre, King George's Hall in Blackburn and Malvern Festival Theatre.

This fast-paced reimagining brings a fresh, vibrant energy to the classic satire, blending Wilde’s legendary wit with OVO’s signature musical flair.

Today marks the final day of the OVO Roman Theatre Open Air Festival 2026! After 3 magical months, just two performances remain. The spectacular production of Twelfth Night presented by the OVO Youth Ensemble performs at 2:30pm today and 7:30pm. (The evening show is sold out, but tickets are available for the matinée!)

We are delighted to announce an additional performance has been added to the OVO Youth Ensemble’s sold-out run of Twelfth Night, this Bank Holiday Monday, 31 August, at 2.30pm! After losing part of Thursday night’s performance to the weather we wanted to ensure the cast had an opportunity to perform in full whilst giving audiences an additional opportunity to catch the show. (If you were a Thursday night ticket holder will have already received an email)

This is an absolutely spectacular production, full of amazing performances!
