A Space To Be... ends today so it is my last day with the project. We didn't engage with as many young people as we had hoped mainly due to the pandemic but the effect we have had on some has been massive. A huge thanks to everyone who helped to make this possible - the Lottery, the county Museum Development Team, the Museums, the artists and last but not least the young people who came on their own journeys with us.

Call out for a visual artist to deliver A Space To Be …, a Hertfordshire based wellbeing project for young people supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Project details: 9 x 2 hour workshops, January to April 2021

Venue: Stevenage Museum

Experience of work in heritage settings an advantage but not essential. We welcome applications from those with lived experience of poor mental health.

Let's spread the word about the UK's biggest Art Exhibition, a new initiative to get the nation making art. Every fortnight an artist will launch a new theme. Communities create their own local exhibitions by displaying their responses to the theme on their window sills. The first one is from Anthony Gormley and is 'dogs'.

Alzheimer’s patient Marta Gonzalez, a former prima ballerina, was transformed as she listened to Tchaikovsky.
