Before any marks are made i feel the texture of the paper on my hands.
I feel its friction and its softness.
My breath becomes deeper and longer
The exhale extends to catch that micro pause before inhale comes in and takes the drawing into the unknown.
Always without a plan and judgement.

This is my quiet place.
