If you have a child approaching pre-school age, this is a great opportunity to meet the team, see the facilities and learn more about what they offer.

What a brilliant evening at Wendens Ambo Village Hall for the recent Quiz Night! 🧠🎉

Hosted by FOWAC and expertly run by the ever-entertaining Henry Fraser, it was one of those nights that perfectly summed up what our village hall is all about — bringing people together, plenty of laughs, a bit of healthy competition, and a great community atmosphere throughout.

From the tricky questions (including a few that definitely caught people out!) to the fantastic team spirit on display, it looked like a thoroughly enjoyable night for everyone involved. And of course, congratulations to the winning team “Stuffed With Fluff” on taking home the trophy! 🏆

A big thank you to everyone who organised, hosted, and supported the event — and to all who came along and made it such a success.

We love seeing the hall used in this way and look forward to many more evenings like it!

We’re a very friendly, welcoming and inclusive group of people. Bingo is a great social evening, it keeps your brain active and you might win a cash prize. If you’re local and can’t get there, we have people who will collect you and take you home, so please get in touch if you need help with transport.

Then & Now – Our Village Hall 🌿

We’ve been looking back at some old photos of the Village Hall from years gone by — and what a transformation it’s been.

From its early days as the Sunday School to the community space we enjoy today, the journey has been incredible. Much of what we’ve achieved is thanks to Bill Arnold’s fundraising skills & determination, and the committee members belief in the Hall’s future.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come and grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.
