Steve Gribbin is now the unofficial Mayor Of Saddleworth after treating us to his disposable BBQ song and Alistair Barrie's powerhouse rants conclusively proved the 'it's funny because it's true' rule. Filthy and deadpan can be very tricky to pull off but that didn't stop Margaret Pinder Comedy and Mick Ferry was unerringly very Mick. ENJOY a night of laughter and entertainment as Off The Rails Comedy Club brings live comedy back to Greenfield.

The popular fixture is returning to The Royal George pub, on Manchester Road, on Sunday, October 25 with a line-up of highly acclaimed comedians.

The evening promises a powerhouse billing featuring a blend of London Comedy Store regulars, festival stalwarts, and acclaimed northern talent.

Just a quick heads up that Ticket Tailor and WeGotTickets ticket shop are currently down although Eventbrite seems to be working.

They are putting in new security patches after yesterday's mega hack which was down to Putin, the Iranian Republican Guard or asylum seekers depending on your political preferences. Hopefully things will be back up and running later today.

Hey Once again, the scam bots are out in force with non existent tickets for our sold out shows. We do report them to Facebook but, quite frankly, they don't care.

If you do have spares to sell, post them in the Off The Rails Comedy Club, Saddleworth or Saddleworth & Mossley Live Events groups.

If you are looking for spares check the sellers profile. If they live in the US then it''s highly unlikely they bought a ticket to a show in Greenfield in the first place. You can always double check with us by emailing [email protected]
