The school, which was established in 1982 and is an ISTD Approved Dance Centre, is located in the beautiful historic town of Rye, East Sussex and is centrally located, 5 minutes' walk from the train and bus station. The School offers professional training in dance and theatre studies under guidance of ISTD Modern, Tap and Ballet examiner Joanne Fletcher. Pupils are accepted from 16 months both gir
ls and boys, and are trained in the ISTD syllabi to major level and optional teacher training. Classes are held at Postern Gate, Cinque Ports Street (previously doctor's surgery) and the adjacent Rye Community Centre, Conduit Hill (upper hall). Both studios are mirrored and have professional flooring by Harlequin and Rosco with Postern Gate also having sprung floors.
