We are an event management company best known for organising the annual retro festival Jack Up The Summer, which takes place on the Isle of Wight over the second weekend in August. In the past 9 years, our brand has grown to include a variety of 'feel-good' decade events for retro music fans. Our two indoor disco parties Jack Up The 70s (February) & Jack Up Christmas (November) are held out of season to provide an incentive for visitors to come to the Island & to give residents something to look forward to in the quieter winter months. Our free-to-attend community event Ticket to Ryde takes place along Ryde seafront over the Spring and Summer bank holiday weekends. The ethos of Jack Up Events is to give back to the local Island community, as such all of our events help fundraise for a range of local charities & good causes. Run by a small team of dedicated individuals, each event aims to bring a nostalgic happy feel-good vibe to Islanders & holidaymakers seeking an attraction & wanting to indulge in their youth & relive memories of their early school disco days. We hope you had an absolutely brilliant time at Ticket To Ryde this Bank Holiday weekend — despite the weather on Saturday doing its best to try and derail proceedings! 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽! 🙌

Ticket to Ryde has been nominated for Best Event in the Red Funnel Awards 2026 — and your vote could make all the difference.

As one of the only free-to-attend live music events and mini-festivals on the Isle of Wight, we exist to shine a spotlight on local talent and bring our Island community together. Every vote helps us do more of that.

🏆 𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀! 🏆

Many of you know Retro Staycations as the beautiful outdoor setting behind some of Jack Up Events' favourite nights — from Jack Up Summer Party in years gone by, to this summer's Dancing Queens & Boyband Dreams with ABBA Chique and Re-Take That. That same site has been nominated again at this year's Isle of Wight Red Funnel Awards, for 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 AND 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🎉

Last year was Retro Staycations' first time being nominated, and thanks to incredible support we came away with Gold and Bronze. It's been the busiest season yet for the site, and now we'd love your help to go one better 🙌

You don't need to have stayed there to vote — if you've danced the night away with us at our beautiful farm site, that's more than enough! 💃 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬, 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞:
