Curtain Call Creative

Next up in our Anastasia cast introductions, meet Alfie Luke as Vlad!

Charming and always ready with a plan, Vlad is Dmitry’s larger-than-life partner in crime...and a man who knows more about the old Imperial world than you might expect!

Together, Vlad and Dmitry hatch a scheme to transform Anya into a convincing Grand Duchess, but as their journey takes them from St Petersburg to Paris, Vlad soon discovers that the past has a habit of catching up with you…particularly when a certain Countess Lily is involved!

Alfie is a familiar face for Curtain Call Creative audiences, most recently taking centre stage as Danny Zuko in Grease, and we’re thrilled to see him swapping his leather jacket for a little old-world Russian charm as he takes on this brilliantly funny role.

WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT...Anastasia Romanov (the centre of our intriguing story) had actually visited the Isle of Wight!! ✨

And not just that...she was the Great Granddaughter of none other than Queen Victoria herself!

The Romanov family spent time on the Island, enjoying both the sailing at Cowes Week and family occasions at Osborne House.

With just ONE MONTH left until Anastasia hits the Shanklin Theatre stage, it's time for some cast announcements.

Starting off strong, we're pleased to introduce Emma Clark as Anya / Princess Anastasia.

The musical’s namesake and the young woman at the very heart of our story, Anya is determined, courageous and searching for answers about a past she can’t remember. Her journey will take her from the streets of St Petersburg, across Europe and all the way to Paris as she sets out to discover who she really is.

Emma is no stranger to Curtain Call, having appeared in numerous productions over the years in both ensemble and principal roles...most notably as Johanna in our production of Sweeney Todd.

Now she takes on one of her biggest roles yet, bringing to life some of the show’s most beautiful moments and iconic songs.
