Hi guys…I’m afraid that I will have to cancel the Music Quiz tonight…My mobility, speech and hearing have all been impaired by my illness and I won’t be able to manage…I wish I could have done just one more quiz, but sadly time has just ran out for me…😔😔
I hoe that Jon Maddix will take over the reins in the new year, as I would love to see the quiz continue…🤞🤞🤞
In the meantime, I will never forget the support and thanks that I had from everyone, it was a pleasure to do the quiz for over 25 years and I truly made some fantastic friends…

Sadly, this week’s quiz will be the last one that I ever do…My cancer has rapidly spread and I have only been given between one and two months to live..Therefore, I’ve decided that the next quiz will be the final one for me…I’m currently in contract talks with Jon Maddix to take over in the new year, as there is still another jackpot rolling over…
Thanks to everyone for their support over the years, and especially now as I try and get through this difficult time…❤️

Due to a combination of England playing on Sunday night, and my current ailing health, I have decided to cancel this weeks quiz…Obviously apologies to those that don’t like football, but I would imagine that there wouldn’t be many people attending anyway..
Therefore, the next quiz will be on the 18th December, and it will be the annual Christmas Quiz!!..
Hope you all enjoy the match on Sunday, and I hope to see you on the 18th!!…👍

Last time out, Sticky Fingers recorded their 12th win of 2022 with a 3 point victory over Right At The Back, and Penfolds Crew managed a rare podium finish!!...
This week, the Featured Artist will be Herman's Hermits, and the Decade rounds will be from the 70's, 90's and 2000's...

The Music Quiz returns to The Windmill tonight!!...
Last time out, Sticky Fingers got back to winning ways with a 2 point victory over Right At The Back, and with Muppets missing vital players, their reduced team of Ugly Kid Gordons managed to record a large last place deficit of 80 points with their score of 176!!..
This week, the Featured Artist will be Madness and the decade rounds will be from the 70's, 90's and 2010's..You can also expect some of the 'genre' rounds that have been suggested by some quiz players, so I can guarantee there will be moaning from a lot of people!!...See you tonight...

The Music Quiz returns to The Windmill tomorrow night!!..
And it's another milestone quiz, as the Quiz celebrates its 25th birthday!!....First song played at the first ever quiz on 12th October 1997??...The intro to 'Alright' by Cast!!...
I just want to thank everyone and anyone who has taken part in any quiz over the last 25 years, and I hope I still have a couple more years left in me....Also, thanks to my Quizmaster mentor, Peter Hythe, who gave me my first 'break' at the Stirrup Cup all that time ago...
Last time out, we had a few people on holidays, and only 6 teams took part in the 100th quiz...It's not very often a team outside of the 'Big 3' wins, but on this occasion, Sweeney's team of youngsters conquered the 2020's round and won by 14 points for only their 3rd ever win...
This week, the Decade rounds will be from the 60's, 80's and 2000's, and the Featured Artist will be Jason Derulo...

Last time out, Right At The Back recorded their 5th win of 2022, and the Jackpot was almost won - only 1 solitary point costing Black Lace the payout!!..
This week sees a milestone for the quiz, as it will be the 100th quiz at The Windmill!!...Only 5 teams have won the quiz during this tenure :
Black Lace have won 53 times
Sticky Fingers have won 32 times
Right At The Back have won 11 times
Sweeney / Chris / Howards team have won twice
Vinyl Countdown have won once
Thanks to all those that have attended the quizzes and made it possible!!...
