Back in the mists of time three companions set out on a hedonistic life tour taking in free festivals, squat parties, gigs, underground club evenings and various other nefarious activities. With a collective love of underground music and bass driven sounds the Saga Dub crew moved through a range of musical styles and likes, often parting company to meet up once again with one constant love that st

ayed with them throughout those years...DUB! Nearing retirement home age the crew decided that rather than order the zimmer frames there could be nothing better than to play the tunes they loved, LOUD! A PA was acquired and true to the spirit one the one deck pioneers of dub music they adopted a no frills approach to selecting the best tunes and letting the music, not the DJ do the talking. Originally dubbed (pun intentional) the Over 50’s Dub Club with a nod to Gentlemen’s Dub Club, they settled on Saga Dub, as most episodes over the years had indeed become a saga! Saga Dub was born and have played a number of sessions at Society Tap Rooms, The Studio, The Salty Dog and various living rooms across the northwest. Styles vary from Roots to Dancehall, Bass to Bashment and Dub to Drum & Bass. Diversity of tunes is a given, quality of tunes is a must
