We had such a wonderful time decorating Easter cakes during our first HAF session. it was full of laughter, colour, and a little bit of chaos! The table was covered in icing, sprinkles, and chocolate eggs as everyone got creative with their own designs. Some cakes were beautifully neat, others delightfully messy, but every single one was made with huge smiles and lots of excitement.

Looking forward to delivering HAF@Hummingbird again during the Christmas Holidays.
Join us for 4 days of fun and fantastic activities at the Studio - breakfast and lunch are provided.
This programme is funded by and the Department for Education. Available free for young people in the borough who are eligible for FSM or SEND.
AM and PM Sessions available.

Held our first wreath workshop of the festive season on Thursday evening. We welcomed into the studio to have some fun, relax and enjoy some ‘down’ time. We listened to Christmas music, drank tea and coffee and ate some mince pies.
Everyone loved creating their wreaths and were very proud of their achievements.
Great job everyone, they will look stunning on your front doors.

Kids absolutely loved this Orizome workshop.
We used Japanese paper and Origami folding techniques. After folding the paper we dip dyed them in ink. The magic was in the unfolding.
They looked awesome mounted together for them to take home.

Had a great time hosting Charlotte and Olives birthday party last weekend. The girls chose to paint a canvas.
They loved creating their backgrounds using acrylic paint and texture tools. They completed their masterpieces with a stencil sponged on the top.

Kids’ Art Club spent the morning painting giraffes on canvas. The children practiced mixing colors, outlining shapes, and adding simple details like spots and long necks. Each giraffe looked a little different, and the kids enjoyed comparing their work and trying new techniques as they painted.
They looked awesome - great job everyone.

Had an absolute blast hosting B’s birthday party last Monday evening. B chose to build light sabres and they looked fantastic.
Karolina and Julie put on a food spread good enough for a wedding.
kids all had so much fun, especially the light sabre battle at the end.
