Last night Hazlehurst Studios got our gladrags on and went to Liverpool as proud finalists of the Business in the Arts category at the Liverpool City Region Culture & Creativity Awards.

This years labyrinth at Norton Priory Museum & Gardens is in situ!

I love creating these every year and it's such a glorious environment to work in

As you can see, the instruments used are very technical, but with hundreds of years of archeaology below, we have to be incredibly careful! No pins, no spray, just me, my trusty tape measure and a stick on a brick!

Obviously all that wouldn't get me very far - so I am also incredibly grateful to Les and his help creating our labyrinths. Here you can see him perfecting the second cut, while I sit on the wall watching!

And just in case you are wondering about the sideways centre, it is to evoke the beautiful design in the centre of the Norton Priory logo.

If you go and walk it this Summer, please do let me know and take a photo if you can. It would be lovely to build up a picture of the folks that enjoy it.
