๐ฎ Real Friends. Real Fun. Real Experiences.
With all the recent discussion around social media and online communication for under-16s, we've had a few parents ask whether anything will change at VR Warehouse.
The answer is simple:
Nothing changes.
In many ways, we've always run things in the spirit of what these changes are trying to achieve.
We absolutely believe young people should be able to enjoy gaming online. Many of our multiplayer experiences use online technology to bring exciting games and worlds to life.
What we've never encouraged is unnecessary communication with strangers.
โ
Microphones disabled
โ
No text chat between players only in game open chat where needed for the game
โ
Supervised sessions
โ
Safe, family-friendly environment
Most importantly, we encourage something that seems to be disappearing in modern life...
People socialising in person.
At VR Warehouse, friends stand side-by-side, celebrate victories together, laugh together, solve problems together and create memories together.
The technology might be virtual, but the friendships, teamwork and experiences are very real.
Online gaming is still available.
The difference is that the focus is on playing together, not endlessly chatting with strangers.
Because we believe the best gaming experiences happen when real people share them together.
