We had the BEST little surprise today! 🤖💙

A lovely lady visiting us from around the Warrington area told us she had asked ChatGPT for ideas of things to do with her teenager and his friends...

And ChatGPT recommended VR Warehouse Runcorn! 😂🙌

They booked in, came along, and absolutely loved it!

Honestly, how cool is that?! We spend so much time trying to get the word out about our little venue, so hearing that someone found us because ChatGPT suggested us genuinely made our day.

So thank you ChatGPT 😂 and an even bigger thank you to everyone who visits us, recommends us, leaves reviews and helps people discover what we do.

Apparently the robots are on our side now too 🤖🤣

🎮 RUNCONR VR - Youth Club Booking Update

A quick update on September bookings.

The 8th and 15th are now FULL.

We’ve cancelled some additional bookings from people who had booked themselves in every week, so there are now some spaces available on later dates.

However, as you can see, we also have young people on the waiting list, so please remember:

You need to go into the booking system and request the date you want to attend. If you haven’t requested that date, you are NOT booked in.

Having attended previously, or having attended earlier in the month, does not automatically reserve you a place.

We’re trying to make sure the funded Youth Club is as fair and accessible as possible and that as many young people as possible get the chance to attend. 💚

Chernobyl (Escape Room) has been conquered by Dad & Lad! ☢️

This was their third visit, and they’re working their way through our escape room library—smashing every one so far!

They completed Chernobyl in an amazing 33 minutes 15 seconds and collected 3 out of 5 trophies. Brilliant effort! 🏆

📢 IMPORTANT YOUTH CLUB BOOKING UPDATE 🎮🥽

Our funded Youth Club has become incredibly popular and we now have a waiting list of young people wanting to attend. 💚

We’ve noticed that some places have been booked many weeks in advance, meaning new young people aren't getting an opportunity to come along.

So, from September, we're making bookings fairer:

🗓️ ONE BOOKING PER YOUNG PERSON, PER CALENDAR MONTH

If you already have multiple future sessions booked, we’ll be cancelling the additional bookings and keeping one booking for you each month.

The cancelled spaces will then be offered to young people on our waiting list, who will receive an email inviting them to book.

⭐ You can still come more than once a month!

👉If we have cancellations or spaces available on the day, anyone who has already attended that month is welcome to book again. You can register your interest and we'll let you know when spaces become available.

Nobody has done anything wrong by booking ahead — This system the council use allowed it!

The Youth Club has simply become much more popular than we expected, and we want as many local young people as possible to benefit from the funded sessions.

🎮💚 Summer HAF 2026 – What an Incredible Two Weeks! 💚🎮

What started as an idea to give local children a fun, safe place to spend part of their summer has turned into something we'll never forget.

Over the last two weeks we've seen children make new friends, build confidence, try things they never thought they could do and, most importantly, have lots of fun.

For some parents, this was the first time they'd ever left their child at a club independently. Hearing your feedback and seeing your children leave with huge smiles has made every hour of planning worthwhile.

These aren't just numbers—they represent children who laughed, learned something new, gained confidence and created memories over the summer holidays.

A huge thank you to Halton Borough Council for funding this fantastic programme and trusting us to deliver it & Number 58 boutique & coffee for the fab lunches.

Finally, thank you to every child, parent and carer who supported us over the last two weeks. Whether you came for one session or several, you've helped make our very first Summer HAF programme a huge success.

🎮 That's a Wrap! Summer HAF 2026 Complete! 💚

Today marked the end of an incredible two weeks, and what a journey it's been!

We've welcomed so many amazing young people through our doors, watched new friendships form, seen confidence grow, and heard countless laughs echo around VR Warehouse. That's exactly what we hoped this programme would achieve.

A huge thank you to every child who came along. You have all been polite, enthusiastic, kind to one another and an absolute pleasure to have at VR Warehouse.

To all the parents and carers – thank you for trusting us with your young people. Your kind words, feedback and support have meant more than you'll ever know.

Finally, a massive thank you to Halton Borough Council for funding the Holiday Activities & Food Programme and making these opportunities possible for local children and young people & Number 58 Cafe for our lunches.

This may be the end of our Summer HAF programme, but it certainly won't be the end of the fun! We hope to see many of you back at VR Warehouse very soon.
