I just love a nice old rustic farmhouse kitchen! October for me is the time the crock pot comes out of hibernation and casserole cooking begins! I've been watching the fabulous Pioneer Woman and noting down some of her great recipes, so I thought it was time for a little kitchen scene to kick start the coming winter seasons!

My latest creation is all free motion machine stitched with an appliquéd valance, tea towel and rug, and measures 26cms x 25cms (10.2" x 9.8"). What's your favourite time of the year? Are you a summer bunny or a winter snuggler like me?! 🍲🍂🍁

Phew! What a busy week it's been! I've yet to reply to some of your comments on my wash day piccie - they are so lovely to read so far! I nearly fell off my chair with the amount of 'likes' I received on it, not to mention all you lovely extra followers who have joined - wow!! A big hello and a massive thank you to you all - I will try and keep you engaged and entertained!! 😁
I've been busy with a new beginners kit I'm putting together and another intermediate kit I've fallen in love with - I will keep you posted I promise! Now to unveil my latest seascape picture, featuring a cheeky and very handsome seagull (now named Sydney!) on a rustic post. It is free motion machine stitched with acrylics for the sea, sky and post and measures 26cms x 33cms (10.2" x 13"). Have a wonderful rest of the weekend - and for those here in the UK, have a fabulous bank holiday Monday (aren't we lucky!). My sweet 'Wash Day in Provence' is now completed! The garden is filled with wild flowers with washing on the line, gently drying in the bright Provence sunshine! It's all free motion machine stitched and appliquéd with a touch of acrylics, measuring 20cms x 20cms (7.9" x 7.9").

Hi! I'm back after a little rest after Art In The Park festival! It was a great success! I met so many lovely visitors and followers over the two days and got to chat about my process amongst other things! I sold lots of originals, giclée prints, cards and have a long list of keen free motion stitchers ready to email them details of my workshops I'm holding from April next year. 2nd and last day at Art In The Park Leamington! The weather here has been glorious and I’ve met some wonderful people (including the lovely Jan on here who had a surprise seeing me there! 😁) I’ve sold quite a few original pieces - although it was sad seeing them go, I’m glad they have all gone to lovely homes! If you’d like to pick up an original picture, cards, giclée prints or find out about future workshops, pop on over, I’d love to see you! There are so many amazing artists to visit in such a beautiful setting (especially by the river!), it’s worth a trip if you’re in the Warwickshire area.
