My sweet 'Wash Day in Provence' is now completed! The garden is filled with wild flowers with washing on the line, gently drying in the bright Provence sunshine! It's all free motion machine stitched and appliquéd with a touch of acrylics, measuring 20cms x 20cms (7.9" x 7.9").
I loved stitching this, just imagining I was there! It's now available to purchase in my shop. (will be supplied with a white frame). https://www.amandahartland.com/shop-1

Hi! I'm back after a little rest after Art In The Park festival! It was a great success! I met so many lovely visitors and followers over the two days and got to chat about my process amongst other things! I sold lots of originals, giclée prints, cards and have a long list of keen free motion stitchers ready to email them details of my workshops I'm holding from April next year. 2nd and last day at Art In The Park Leamington! The weather here has been glorious and I’ve met some wonderful people (including the lovely Jan on here who had a surprise seeing me there! 😁) I’ve sold quite a few original pieces - although it was sad seeing them go, I’m glad they have all gone to lovely homes! If you’d like to pick up an original picture, cards, giclée prints or find out about future workshops, pop on over, I’d love to see you! There are so many amazing artists to visit in such a beautiful setting (especially by the river!), it’s worth a trip if you’re in the Warwickshire area. My little sewing room - all completed! I'd love to spend some time in here hand stitching! The perfect hobby room with jars filled with buttons, string, paper, paint brushes and stashes of wool in the little baskets! I enjoyed hand stitching the tiny design on the embroidery hoop! It measures 21cms x 23cms and is all machine stitched with appliqué for the fabric stack, curtain, embroidery hoop, jars and basket goodies. I hope you're having a super Thursday! x
