A quick explanation for my sudden silence here.
For about a month I barely used Facebook at all. At some point my feed turned into a constant stream of disturbing headlines, doom-scrolling news and random spam messages. I clicked on one worrying story once and the algorithm apparently decided that’s exactly what I wanted to see all day, every day.
After a while it just became too much, so I did the simplest thing possible: I deleted the app from my phone.
If anyone messaged me during that time and didn’t get a reply, I’m really sorry. It wasn’t me ignoring people or clients. I just completely lost the will to open Facebook. The feeling was a bit like going somewhere you know you should go, but really don’t feel like being.
I’m slowly checking in again and catching up, although I’m also thinking about moving some of my online activity elsewhere.
The next six months will actually be quite busy and creative for me. I’ve got a few new ideas and projects slowly taking shape. I won’t say too much yet, but there will definitely be some changes.
And thank you to those of you who are still here despite the quiet.
