13 lovely years ✨️❤️

After 13 lovely years, it's time to say a very fond farewell to my most lovely class.

Over the last 13 years we've worked on so many amazing projects together, explored all sorts of ideas, laughed a lot and watched each other grow. This has always been a class thats approached every topic with openness and enthuasiam.

It has been my absolute joy seeing students develop from exhibiting works for the first time to becoming confident artists and I've loved being a part of their art journeys.

Because of new opportunities I'm not teaching them this year and while I'm so sad to say goodbye, I'm excited to see what the new chapter will bring.

So heres to 13 years of creativity, conversation. coffee, zoom, laughter and experimentation together - thank you xx

⭐️ A beautiful morning of calligraphy at St Andrews church ⭐️

The quiet hum of concentration drifted over the church at this mornings calligraphy workshop.

There's something special about slowing down, learning new techniques and creating beautiful lettering in such a beautiful space.

I hope everyone enjoyed the creativity, conversation and calm as much as I did!

Teaching a mini Introduction to Calligraphy class was a joy! I love hearing everyones reasons for coming along - each one different and personal. One of my favourites was a lovely attendee who wants to learn calligraphy so that she can create all of her wedding stationery - how special is that? ✒️✨️
There's something wonderful about learning a new skill and turning it into something meaningful.
