We also show a wide range of the latest and current blockbuster films! We love to hear from our audience but we are also always looking for new members to join us - either to help out back

‘Much Ado About Nothing’ is a joyful romantic comedy about different couples finding true love, after overcoming witty insults and silly misunderstandings.

The Main Plot: Trading sharp and funny insults ‘enemies’ Benedick and Beatrice play out a ‘merry war’ - claiming they will never marry - which quietly masks a deep, underlying mutual attraction for one another.

The Prank: Friends trick them into believing the other person is secretly in love with them.

The Result: Overhearing staged gossip, Benedick and Beatrice drop their pride and happily fall in love….eventually!

SPITFIRE GIRLS

Show dates: 13 - 20 March 2027

‘Spitfire Girls’ is inspired by the extraordinary true stories of women who flew planes in WW2 - as part of the Air transport auxiliary (A.T.A) - and is a warm and uplifting piece of theatre - both funny and sad, but also powerful and atmospheric.

The play is a ensemble-driven piece, centred on the bond between two principal characters - sisters, Bett & Dotty - but also relies heavily on a tight, supporting cast, most of who will play dual roles and whose characters are all formative to the story.

Audition Date: Tuesday 15th September 2026
Time: 7.00pm
Venue: Rugby Theatre Bar
Show dates: 13 - 20 March 2027

As well as being confident in bringing two separate characters to life (supporting cast), actors will need to be physically fit and comfortable with physical theatre and movement.
