Make Believe A Story company brings stories alive using drama, character exploration, music, movement and exciting props and costumes. We are professional actors and also work alongside other industry professionals to bring drama clubs workshops, parties, private group drama workshops and interactive storytelling to children in their various settings in Rugby and the surrounding areas. We bring ta

les of wonder and fantasy alive through imaginative and immersive storytelling and drama. We help children to engage their imaginations, build their confidence and develop their acting skills. We also bring classic, modern and original heart warming stories to life sending important messages and nurturing the love of the written word. We use characterisation, performance techniques and a treasure trove of creative props, percussion instruments, costume pieces and masks. Our private workshops are tailored to your requirements with you choosing the suitable level of involvement from the children. Our exciting storytelling sessions take children on an enlightening journey inside the story promoting imagination and creativity. Book us to explore stories relevant to your curriculum, for school holiday clubs, as a special end of term or Christmas treat or any time in between! We can be booked for magical storytelling parties for 3-8 year olds. We deliver small group drama workshops and fun packed drama parties for ages 8-11. As another Summer holiday draws to a close and we're all feeling a bit more refreshed and recharged, we at Make Believe a Story are reflecting on what a fantastic drama summer club we had this year.😀
Cathy and I have so much fun planning and creating the clubs and we get a great deal of satisfaction from seeing the young actors really engaging in , enjoying and learning from all the amazing activities and professional workshops.🎭
Thank you to all the children and parents that have brought our dream to life.🤩
We would also like to thank Rugby Round Table 113 for their kind and generous sponsorship which helped to make our event a success.
⭐We are now preparing for a busy Autumn/ Christmas season. We will be touring our workshops and interactive storytelling sessions and working on our plans for our new Monday club and next holiday clubs.

Well we have already experienced 3 full days of summer drama club 2026 and what fun we've had.😃
We have been delighted with the enthusiasm, creativity and talent that our young people have shown and we are getting excited for our showcase performance on Friday. 🤩
It has been a very busy few days, so there's not been much time to upload many photos yet, but I couldn't resist sharing a few from today's fabulous special effects stage and film make-up workshop.
