🎄 Christmas is in Full Swing with Ruddington Community Choir! 🎶

We’ve loved spreading festive cheer at Gamston Christmastime, Ruddington Market, and St Giles’ Christmas Tree Trail – thank you to everyone who joined us!

Next up, we’re looking forward to our Christmas Social this Tuesday at The Ruddington Arms. We’ll raise a glass to another successful year and sing some Christmas favourites before sitting down for a meal.

Harvest of Harmonies – What a Night!

We had an absolutely wonderful time performing our Harvest of Harmonies concert last night.

The atmosphere was full of joy and music— thank you to everyone who came along and supported us.

We’re thrilled to share that we raised £537 for The Nottingham Hospitals Charity — your generosity will make a real difference.

A special thank you to Ruddington Methodist Church for kindly donating the room hire fee for the evening — your support helped make this event even more impactful.

We can’t wait to perform for you all on Saturday at our Harvest of Harmonies Concert.

Our programme is full of gorgeous harmonies from well-known songs through the decades and we are excited to perform some of our newest songs.

We are also very hopeful that we can raise some much needed funds for The Nottingham Hospitals Charity via the profits from our ticket sales as well as our raffle on the night.

A Harvest of Harmonies

Our upcoming concert, next Saturday 18th October, is raising funds for The Nottingham Hospitals Charity at the Methodist Church in Ruddington.

For the incredibly reasonable price of just £5, tickets include an evening of musical entertainment, plus a drink as well as an opportunity to take part in our raffle, all with the aim to raise money for a very worthy cause.

If you're coming to the And Breathe workshop on Saturday here is a reminder of what to expect:

We start at 2pm at Ruddington Methodist Church, 8 Charles St, Ruddington, Nottingham NG11 6EF.

The Ruddington Village Market will be running from 9am to 2pm so we’d recommend arriving early to browse the stalls and/or enjoy lunch before the workshop.

There is a car park behind the Medical centre – right opposite the church – plus street parking but, as it’s likely to be busy, you might want to consider car sharing or public transport.

Elizabeth suggests that you wear comfortable clothes as it’s an interactive workshop. We will be serving refreshments but please bring a bottle of water as it could be thirsty work!

There is no charge for this workshop, but donations are invited for CityHubUkraine based at the City Hospital. https://www.facebook.com/groups/539305517842087/

Ann Vickers (who will be joining us on Saturday) and the team have sent over 40 lorries direct to contacts in Ukraine, and collect everything from medical supplies and equipment, warm clothing, sleeping bags, torches, hospital beds, generators, ambulances and other vehicles. Food, furniture and other items are distributed to refugees living locally in Nottingham.
