1968: Mick, a young English detective, goes undercover as Wales prepares to receive a new Prince. A secret army of Welsh nationalists are ranged against him, in a fight to save Wales from a usurper Prince and restore its language and its pride. But are they terrorists, or freedom fighters? And what is one man’s life compared to freedom? The events that follow reverberate across the decades to 2019 as Mick and his wife of 60 years, Ann, now in their eighties, reflect upon the cost of those turbulent years.

David Sear’s deeply personal play examines part of his family’s history, illustrating the impact of national politics on all our individual lives, and how small choices we make in the heat of the moment can change our destiny. Presented for the Cambridge Festival of Drama at the ADC theatre on the 26th September as a Studio at TLP production, the play stars two outstanding veterans of the Cambridge amateur drama community, Rosemary Eason and Peter Simmons alongside two of its brightest young talents, Asher Guy and Reece Bond – together with Chris Hay and Craig Allen.

WE ARE GOING TO LONDON! TLP are very proud to bring "How to Cry in a House Full of Children" (written and directed by Vki Vera and produced in the UK by Rosina Piovani) directly from Uruguay to The Space Theatre as part of the Voila Theatre Festival. The team are making many efforts to come from Uruguay and they would really appreciate some help. The funds donated to our crowdfunder will also go towards helping them cross the Ocean!

We went costume scouting to our friends from Shakespeare at the Towers and they were amazing! Thank you so much for the wonderful costumes we got for our Mary Stuart!
