Term is not over yet so we are still rehearsing 🗓️

Learning new songs, some quite challenging, but we are having fun with it! Learning some new moves as well 🕺

We practice every Monday at 7 pm at Pembroke college chapel

So many things to be thankful for, as we begin the 10 DAY COUNTDOWN to our concert. One of which is the lovely sanctuary of peace in which we are privileged to sing and rehearse, the Pembroke Chapel. We want to say a big Thank You to the College for this opportunity.

✨️ Why do people join our choir?

We asked our choirs members, and they delivered! Here is what one of our dear choir members, Martine shared:

“I was at Christ Church singing while redecorating the church and a ministry trainee came and said, 'You should join the CU Gospel Choir, my wife goes there...' - Oh why not I thought, and this is how I joined.
What I did like, and it has not changed, is the fact that it is open to everybody regardless of your age, nationality, background etc. The first time I sang, I felt uplifted, full of energy somehow "rebooted". It was like I was in a middle of a live concert. This is the best medicine you could get for your physical and mental health. Cherry on the cake it is scientifically proven, so come and Sing!”
