Hello Everyone, a friend of mine is producing Shakespeare's Fool on tour at Trinity Theatre on Thursday 11th January.

The show explores the life of Will ‘Cavaliero’ Kempe was one of the finest performers of the Elizabethan age. Gentleman player, juggling jester, headmaster of Morris dancers and London’s finest clown, until…he fell out with Will ‘git-face’ Shakespeare.

Kempe died alone and poverty stricken, not very far from the original Globe Theatre, of which he was an original shareholder and faded into obscurity; a world away from his former life having supposedly originated some of literature’s best- known characters, including Bottom, Dogberry, and Falstaff.

Join ‘Cavaliero’ Kempe on the streets of London as he gives his final performance to an audience of a mouse and a marrote and tells the tale of his life, his rise to stardom and what really happened between him and William Shakespeare.

Now in its third year of touring, Shakespeare’s Fool has delighted audiences and critics alike, with five-star reviews, performances at three international festivals, and sell-out runs across the UK.

It's a good opportunity to support Trinity and the new work. Hopefully see some of you there.

It's been too long!

We hope that you've all been bearing up under the stresses and strains of the last year or so of 'you know what'. As we are a small company, we made the decision to hold off on all the projects that we had planned for 20/21. However, we were not idle. Please check out the project that we have recently completed with education theatre company Stage Ed. Please pass on to any teacher friends and if you would like to purchase a copy of the course for your child (going in to yr 10/11) have a word with their teacher or contact Stage Ed for an individual licence (special deal for TSP supporters such as yourselves). Thanks again for the support throughout the pandemic and here is hoping that we will meet in person again soon.

I imagine that Tom and Kat at Wicked Productions and the EM Forster respectively have had a difficult few weeks (to say the least). While we at TSP made the decision to take time off to work on other things they have put their time and money into creating this wonderful christmas show. Please consider supporting them by streaming. We will be watching on Christmas Eve and shouting the house down. Well done Wicked productions and all the creatives, cast and crew that made this production possible. Theatre WILL be back. Merry Christmas everyone.

Hello everyone, I hope that you're all keeping safe and well. Unfortunately, due to you know what, TSP had to cancel all our plans for this year, but there are plans afoot for something Shakespearean to mark the big man's birthday 2021...meanwhile, if you're able to attend this cabaret event it would be great to support Salomons Estate as they endeavour to create LIVE THEATRE!! Such a rare treat these days. The food will be great and they have COVID (oh no I said it!) measures in place to help keep everyone safe. Hope to see you there.

Hey wonderful Shakespeare Fans! Our friends over at Worcester Rep & Tortive Theatre are putting on a brilliant show about Will Kempe - Shakespeare's fool. We've been lucky enough to have a sneak peek at this new script and think it's going to be a cracking show. They are fundraising to take the show to Edinburgh and then a short tour (We're trying to bring the show to Twells as part of this TBC). If you're able to spare a few ££ please consider pledging to support this project.

Theatre is getting hit pretty hard in the current climate so literally every pound will count.
