My name is Bethan Walker, I live right in the heart of Speldhurst with my husband and two beautiful children. I am a professionally trained actress. I have worked in theatre, film, radio and television for 15 years. I also have many years experience working with young children in various settings, having been a nanny and helped lead a weekly children's group for many years. I have a full DRB check. Having been in youth theatre for many years with expert leaders, I know full well the benefits of a loving and encouraging environment to explore drama as a young person. It is a real honour to finally be bringing these skills together to launch The Drama Club. What should I expect? Each hour long session will begin with a fun vocal and physical warm up to music. We will then explore our weeks theme through drama and movement games. We will close with some relaxation exercises and storytelling. How much do the sessions cost? Sessions are £8.50
What should my child wear or bring? There is no required uniform. They may stay in school uniform, or change into something comfortable if they prefer. Current restrictions mean I cannot provide a snack, so please bring something for hungry tummies before the session. As soon as I am permitted I will provide a drink and a snack just before we start.
