What a fantastic evening we had on Sunday. A packed Holy Trinity Leamington, wonderful dancing from Hereburgh Morris, a brilliant band of musicians led by David le Page of the Orchestra of the Swan, four superb soloists, and a diverse programme of wonderful folk music lovingly arranged by Harvey Brough.

What a privilege to sing this amazing music in such beautiful surroundings to such an appreciative crowd. The Fiddle and the Drum was an experience we will never forget.

Thank you everyone who participated and of course our deepest thanks and love go to Harvey, our director and founder without which none of this could have happened. 🥰

Free Sunday evening?

What nicer way of spending a summer's evening than with a little music, some dance and perhaps a tipple or two. Right at the top of Parade in Leamington.

With morris dancing on the grass near the tennis courts from 5.30pm, and then moving inside Holy Trinity Leamington around 6pm for a splendid evening of folk music, sung by ourselves plus guest soloists, music from the renowned Orchestra of the Swan and more dancing courtesy of Hereburgh Morris and seasonal beverages provided by The Crafty Brewer.

By 8pm your head will be full of songs, and your face full of smiles, an evening well spent. Maybe a few new friends too!

This Sunday 12 July (6–8pm), the Vox Populi Community Choir presents a musical experience unlike any other..

The Fiddle and the Drum is a programme of folk music, from timeless traditional folk tunes to heartfelt modern protest anthems. This is a musical journey through the songs that have inspired, united and challenged generations, many of which still resonate powerfully with the world of today.

We have so loved learning and rehearsing these songs, and hope you'll love them too. But to enhance your experience even more, you will get:
