Warwickshire's Finest is back with a quintessentially British charity afternoon to be held at St Giles' Church in Chesterton, CV33 9LG, which is just up the villiage road from where we held our lambing afternoon in April.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to share this fantastic off-grid, rural location with you all, so come along and join us for an afternoon that is suitable for all the family to enjoy together! We have gentle afternoon music kindly provided by local musicians, and a thoroughly entertaining demonstration provided by the Harbury Morris dancers, and yes, there may be a chance to have a go!
This afternoon we will be paying homage to the humble welly, which is a vital part of our rural lives! So please come and celebrate with us by bringing along a decorated retired welly, or a well-oiled wanging arm! Both of these competitions will be divided into adults and children.
Please tag your decorated wellies with a name, phone number and age (if under 16).
All the entertainments and competitions will be set outdoors, weather permitting.
Please bring cash to take part in the days entertainments or for purchasing extra refreshments!
Ticket prices for the afternoon teas:
Afternoon tea with a drink of choice - £10
Cream tea with a drink of choice- £5
Limited teas available, so please purchase a ticket to avoid disappointment. As all refreshments will be home made, please eat at your own risk as we cannot safely cater for allergens/special requirements.
