We're really excited that our first 2026 Residencies at LEVEL Youth artist has been with us recently! Welcome Felicity Duffy (Fliss)!

Fliss says:
"I am a neurodiverse 17 year old with a passion for art. I have been home educated since I was 8 years old which has given me the opportunity to follow and develop my interests. I would like a career in the art world. I see art and beauty in the 'unusual' and have embraced my life of feeling and being different by hopefully creating 'different' in my artworks, hoping that others can see it too."

Over the past few weeks Fliss has been working with mentor Abbie Canning, visited the Mannequin Graveyard for inspiration, been busy sourcing materials and had time and space to discover new ways to create. Fliss has also found time to set up a new Insta page: .creartions_
Head over to Fliss' page and give it a follow!

We can't wait to see where this Residency journey takes Fliss. Watch this space over the next few weeks for updates!

Throwback to last week when we celebrated our wonderful volunteer Paul's big 70th birthday!

Paul gives LEVEL so much of his time and we're really lucky to have him on our Volunteer Team! So it was brilliant to be able to share in his special day. And check out the LEVEL Centre cake - tastes as good as it looks!

As a charity, our volunteers really are invaluable to us. If you're interested in supporting our charity through volunteering, please get in touch - visit our website for more info! We'd love to hear from you.

Drumroll please! We're thrilled to announce the winner of the People's Choice Award 2026...

Huge congratulations to EqualBase Artists for their piece 'Patterns of Our Lives'! They will receive a lovely art supplies bundle from our fabulous sponsors, Turners Art Supplies!

Emily, Ashley, Rebecca and Liam are four artists that attend EqualBase Day Centre in Cheadle, Staffordshire. At the day centre they participate in fun, meaningful opportunities and activities that meet their additional needs. The artists enjoy activities such as music, art, craft, sensory objects, films, gardening and drama with special interests in swimming, baking, gaming, singing, music and dance.

EqualBase told us: "Patterns of Our Lives was created using objects that feature daily in our artists' lives. These included a hair comb, bobbles and clip, toothbrush, nail polish bottle and a bath pouf, a piece of Lego, a pen and swimming medal and a toy car, a Jaffa cake and a toilet roll.

The everyday items used to print with reflect the lives of the artists in various ways - fun, intimate and also profound.

Careful prints were made using acrylic Gelli-pads and dry-wax paper. The prints, when dry, were arranged into a collage on an upcycled canvas."
